Every seller seems to be a bit unique and you can't just put them in a "box". For you, I think you'd do well in any of the three buckets (auctions, auctions w/bin, fixed price). One thing for sure is there is no definate answer for anyone until the data starts rolling in. As you mentioned, free shipping is one of the easier to spot triggers to get additional exposure.
