I’m often surprised when I talk with users how interested they are in the technical side of “how things work” and how often the perceptions of how eBay really works is such a mystery. I think eBay has a hit with their new eBay Tech Blog, primarily because it reveals some of the mystery of how it really works.

I enjoyed the section on how many page calls are made and the challenge involved in lowering them for a speedier eBay.

Kudos to the VP of Buyer Experience for an educational and informative first post and I’m sure that everyone will await the next post impatiently!!
