What is my eBay Listing Fee?

eBay is offering up a large number of listing promotions for the holiday season. With some overlapping promotions, it may be hard to figure out exactly what your listing fee will be and exactly what style to use. So to sum up the promotions thus far:

For Auctions
If you DO NOT have an eBay Store subscription, you can list 100 Auction-style listings per month for FREE until January 7th regardless of start price.

From now until December 31st, If you list Video Games (new OR vintage), your insertion fee for Auction-style listings is $.25. If you list games at $9.99 or lower, there is no change in fees, so this promotion is for Video Games (new or vintage) that start over $10.00.

For Auction-style listings (for both eBay store subscribers and non-store subscribers), from October 19th – October 25th, you can list you Auction-style listing for $.25 no matter what the starting price.

For Fixed-Price Listings
From October 9th-October 15th, you can list your Fixed-Price item for $.01, if you sell in the following categories:

  • Electronics
  • Computers & Networking
  • Cameras & Photo
  • Cell Phones & Smartphones (Within the Cell Phones & PDAs category)
  • PDAs & Pocket PCs (Within the Cell Phones & PDAs category)
  • Musical Instruments
  • Video Game Systems (Within the Video Games category)

Make sure that you read the exclusions as there are requirements (DSRs, etc). We’ll keep this blog post updated over the holiday season so you can reference any current sales before you list without having to search.
