  • What is Vendio Checkout and why should I use it?
    Vendio Checkout is your seller's preferred checkout method. It provides you with a fast and easy way to exchange payment and shipping information with your seller, and enables your seller to process your order quickly. Using any other checkout method may delay shipping of your order.

  • Why do I need to provide the information on this screen? What is it being used for?
    We ask for identifying information in order to prevent fraud and to verify that you are the winning bidder or authorized buyer for your item. If you are entering checkout from the item listing, you only need to provide your email address that you use at the auction site. If you are using the general Vendio Checkout page, you must provide the auction site, the item number, your email address and your seller's name.

    All data are used for verification purposes only and to ensure that you are taken to the appropriate checkout page for your seller and your item. If your email address is the same as your user ID, you will be asked to complete the checkout process via a separate email that we will send in order to confirm your identity.

  • How do I contact my seller?
    You can contact your seller using one of the following methods:

    • If your seller has a Vendio Store, there will be a "Contact Us" tab at the top of the Vendio Checkout confirmation screen where you enter your e-mail address. Click on that tab to send your seller an e-mail.
    • If you received a winning bidder notification e-mail from your seller, your seller's e-mail address is available in the "From" field of that message.
    • For eBay listings, you can request your seller's contact information by using the form available at http://cgi3.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?MemberSearchShow.
    • For Amazon listings, you can contact your seller using the instructions shown on the "Contacting Your Seller" help page.
    • For Yahoo! listings, you can contact your seller using the instructions shown on the "How do I contact the seller?" help page.

  • Where can I find the item number for my item?
    The item number can be found from your auction site, on the listing page for your item.

  • Why do you need my email address?
    On most auctions, the winning bidder's user ID is visible to the general public. We ask for the email address associated with your buyer account on the auction site because this information is usually not available to the general public and helps to verify your identity as the authorized buyer for your item. The email address that you enter here is not used for any other purpose.

    If your email address is the same as your user ID, you will be asked to complete the checkout process via a separate email that we will send in order to confirm your identity.

  • What is the seller name used on the auction site?
    The seller name is the user ID that the seller uses on the auction site where you purchased the item.
