A bidder won my auction, and didn't pay. After 14 days I e-mailed him, asking him to please send payment. He didn't reply. I send him a NPB. He e-mailed me this:

Im sorry but i'am going through money problems and will not be able to pay for it . I would like to cancel the order.
Sorry,
****

I want to e-mail him back and tell him a bid is a contract, and that he should pay. Or should I just forget about it and leave him negative feedback? He has bid on and won a few big ticket items, so I can't see why he won't pay for my smaller priced item. He only has 2 feedbacks, both positive. I have never left a negative before, but I want to leave one for him. What would you do?

Email him telling him his bid is a contract then file NPB then FVF. Leave negative way later.

I would not leave negative, maybe they are really having money problems. At least they let you know. I have had some that just never say a thing. Get your credit from ebay and make a note of this seller so they don't get you in the future.

Just file FVF and move on. Maybe they are telling the truth and it happens to everyone.
