a couple of the conerns I would have is that a few f the postives he did get are for item that should not ship until today (feb 28) so the buyer wouldn't even have them yet. A little confusing and scary. hope everything works out for any buyers who sent cash. This willbe a fun one to watch. I don't rush to judgement so I haven't drawn any conclusions yet !

Why are some buyers giving positive fb because the seller is "allowing them to cancel due to sellers PayPal problem"? I can see some giving neutral or even neg...but why would you give a seller a positive under these circumstances? If you weren't pissed at him wouldn't you just let it go and not leave fb period.

Maybe because the seller does not have to let them out of the auction but is doing so anyway? If he's friendly, co-operate and does not try to insist that they pay despite PayPal problem they could consider him to be an honest seller in the midst of difficulties beyond his control.

I would agree with that, but you have to look at the feedback he gives and they are not neutral they are negatives. The ones that got the negatives because they gave neutrals was not right. I wouldn't want my feedback ruined because in his auctions he states PayPal and then doesn't let them use it. Lots of buyers only use PayPal and that is why they bid on auctions that take paypal.
Most not all my male buyers pay by Paypal. Women usually pay be check or Money order.

I agree. What makes him any different than a buyer that doesn't follow TOS. Here it is just reversed, as the seller isn't following his own TOS. I would leave a neg for the Paypal problem since it is clearly stated in his ad that he accepts it. I find it interesting that they are grateful to him for letting them cancel. As sellers, we all hate hearing the numerous excuses the BUYERS provide. Seller having a problem? Well TOUGH. I would neg him and move on to another seller with the same item accepting Paypal if that was my prefered payment method.

I very seldom buy from someone who doesn't take PayPal OR some form of credit cards - I am always highly suspicious of Money Orders only ads - and unless it is a publicly known company, I simply NEVER buy from a Money Order only seller.

There's a chance this guy just got in way over his head doing 2500 auctions in 2 weeks. Most non-positive FB is related to Paypal.

I don't think it's fraud, just that the seller is not too smart. He is going through a nightmare right now.

He brought this nightmare on himself and when PayPal went down he should have tried to get rid of that PayPal logo in his auctions. Granted it would have taken a long time to do that but he wouldn't be in this kind of trouble if he had just revised ALL his auctions or better yet cancelled the auctions and then relisted just a few at a time. Now he is going to have problems getting rid of the merchandise that people are rejecting and then that makes for more of a mess. Oh I wonder how much excedrine he goes through a day. Why he isn't answering emails is another one of his problems. He bit off more than he can chew and now he has to suffer the consequences.

He thought through his great plan all the way to the point of posting auctions. Then he realized too late that was the easy part. His days are now nothing but misery.

why is he having problem with paypal??too much too fast??
do i sense a certain sour grapes/envy/jealousy??this guy works very hard to sell and we all just sit and watch and criticise him.
if some of us just use the time and energy to duplicate part of his efforts,we would have done well,i see most have bids.

He was busy yesterday leaving 10 negative feedback for "horrbile" and "terrbile" bidders. For 8 of them it was their first neg. I feel sorry for the buyers, it really gives online auctions a bad reputation.

stopwhining you crack me up why not email him and tell him you are looking for a deal on electronics and feel comfortable buying from somone whose auctions are hosted in a website in germany which happens to have strict privacy laws closing down that one loop of trying to locate who this really is!

TOMWII to come back to your original question my point is this is a crook only a fool would have bought from him

I glad I waited to see if this person was legit....worked out for the best the item I wanted just went on sale at CC for $399 reduced to $249

This is one reason why eBays feedback system stinks.
Praise
Never completed transaction, but very friendly, helpful! Definitely Recommend!!

Now tell me why someone would recommend a seller that never completes a transaction. I hope my buyers are sympathetic when something happens to me.

Libra only reason for the praise is most people won't give negs too scared to get one back.........

As this seller is obviously all about retalitory feedback. If he used his time answering emails instead of leaving negs for his buyers maybe he would be getting less negs. But, I don't think it will matter much, at least not to him/her. He is pretty much toast as far as any future sales using this I.D. Anyone checked his feedback lately? The buyers are HOT! One says he paid $1000 and has yet the receive any communication. Another is talking up law enforcement. Looks bad...

I totally blame eBay for this! They were warned - surely they peruse the chat boards from time to time! They never hesitate to pull an auction for a seller with good feedback having an extra link button but don't heed all the red lights involved with this seller??? I think the harmed buyers would have a good class action case against eBay for not having controls in place to stop this sort of thing..caveat emptor???? that only goes so far!

Some buyers are receiving their electronics. Perhaps the company that he got involved with for the drop shipping can't keep up with the orders fast enough. Maybe this guy just got in over his head?

I haven't decided one way or another as yet but it doesn't look good.

Even if he got in over his head EBay should have seen the red lights - there should be some controls to limit number/$ auctions an untested seller is allowed to post..that guy's feedback - mostly for buying low ticket items or selling low ticket DVDs - was certainly no assurance he could handle the auctions he had posted..maybe they should have someone like that post a bond before they are allowed to list like that!

from the listings,i read that he is going thru many channels to get these dvds,so they could be sold out already.
unless he takes possessions of these dvds,he cant be sure they are still available when payment is received.
sell what you dont have-go to jail!!

DVDs are just the tip of the iceberg! sandwiched in between those DVDs he had high ticket electronic items that were supposed to be drop shipped on 2/27 with delivery by 3/10.....thats where the big bucks were..

Checking the positive fb I see only one of the high ticket items that was "supposedly" drop shipped. I can't believe anyone still believes that this person is legit.

That's the trouble - feedback was all positive while he was running his auctions..even now, look at that new seller grid eBay has added (go to one of his old auctions) - he shows positive feedback of 90% plus...even with all these negatives! And we have yet to hear from all the high ticket winners who are patiently waiting until March 10 before they panic!
