This auction ended on Sunday night. I've attempted to send about a dozen emails to the winner. They've all been returned saying 'email account is over quota.' His emails to me are getting through. Is there a link to report this to Ebay?

Most ISPs have a limit (in megs) that you can have in your mailbox at one time. To me it sounds like he is sending emails, but not downloading the new ones. By this I mean, in most email programs there is an option to leave a copy of email on server. If by chance he is doing this, his mailbox will fill up very quickly, and could possibly be locked by HIS ISP, until he contacts them and straightens this out. Also just a thought, but the email that is sent to him....if it is to large, his server may reject it. This usually would only happen if you are sending a large file with your email, such as a spreadsheet, picture of something or some other kind of file.

I am getting the same message from one of my buyers. Somebody at elvis.com I just requested the contact info from Ebay and I left a message for them to call or email me.

The over quota thing is when they don't delete their mail and it runs over the alloted mailbox space. Mail on some systems I have seen can reach into the 100's of MB per mailbox and if you had a 1000 customers doing this it would overwhelm the space on the servers.

When my outlook express is over quota I receive the email but I can't open it. I have to delete some of my mail and then it will open. I am sure if I used folders this wouldn't happen. I don't know if the sender gets any message because it has only happened to me a couple of times.
