If so, is there anything special that needs to be done? I don't have the original box.

Have you actually sold one?

I see so many of them at yard sales. I bought mine a couple months ago at a rummage sale for $10. The cable was worth more than that! And it came with the manual and installation CD and works fine. I just had to buy new ink cartridges -- still cheaper than a new machine.

Does anyone really buy a used printer on ebay?

Cap - I have bought and sold them in the past, but they were highend ones not used $99 ones.

The most important thing when shipping is TAKE OUT THE TONER CARTRIDGES!! There is nothing quite so annoying or destructive as toner all over the inside of a printer.

Yes capotasto, I actually did sell one.

I probably should have thought about this before listing.

Thanks neonmania, I was thinking that would be needed.

Now my next problem... my current printer is out of ink and my new shipment has not arrived. It wouldn't be too much of a problem except the item is going UPS and I have no way to print the label.

Hopefully they arrive tomorrow. If not, probably have to go pay Wal-Mart $15 for a new black cartridge.

i actually purchased one for a friend on ebay.

just pack it carefully so that it cannot move around in the box.

the one I bought still had the ink cartridge in it, no problem at all.
