I've received 2 payments this morning and the notice from paypal didn't include their address or any messages they've put with the payment. I received many overnight that were normal. Anyone else receive odd notices this morning? Is this new for some privacy reason? I believe they were down for maintenance last night for awhile.

I haven't seen any PayPal emails this morning but I know eBay changed the format (again!) of their EOA emails yesterday. It broke (again!) our automagical invoice generator.

I just got the same thing, emails without addresses. What good does that do? You have to sign in to Paypal and click on the Details for each payment to find out where to send the item. I hope this is just a glitch because it's a huge pain.

You were shipping just on an email? That's rather risky. Maybe that's why PayPal has changed their email notification format.

Uaru, no of course not. I always go to Paypal to confirm before I ship. But at least when I get the emails with the addresses I can get the packages ready. If I have 20 Paypal payments one day it's a lot quicker for me to go through the emails consecutively, get the shipments ready, then confirm them all. If they are not including the addresses in the emails anymore, it just means an extra time-consuming step. But just for the record, I've done over 10,000 auctions and have yet to receive a bogus email regarding a Paypal payment.

They're purposely driving traffic to their site by adding this extra step...once you're there, the odds are you'll use more of their services.

The addresses are back. Must have been a temporary glitch.
