I am so very excited. I have my red star and I can "download" an Ebay certificate. They hope I will proudly display it.

Now, which frame should I chose? The $50 Michaels custom frame or a really exclusive one? (Just kidding).

When I received my first red star under my other name I got a nice little Ebay pin and a printed certificate. I don't know what happened to the certificate, but I do have the pin. Now, as Ebay makes millions more a year, they can't even spring for sending a printed certificate in the mail? We are supposed to print our own?

Gee, I feel so honored!

Sorry, I don't usually rant on Ebay. Overall, I really like them and have few complaints. But, this one seemed unusually cheap and cheesy to me

I just got my red star about two months ago, and they did send a certificate in the mail. I got the e-mail about downloading it myself, too. So you probably still will get the coveted document! Anyway, congratulations - your second red star is quite an achievement.

Jeeze, Lindajean, I got my red star a long time ago and they didn't send me squat! No pin, no certificate, nothing, nada.

Should I be upset? Am I upset? Well, nope.

Hi Lucy: I wouldn't have been upset if I hadn't got one either. But, to ask me to print my own and then tell me they hope I will proudly display it just didn't come across right.

Now, when I reach that 10,000 (or was it 100,000) mark I am really sorry they quit giving away the leather jackets. That would have been cool

Where the devil are you gonna display it? Maybe on the refrigerator?

At least they sent you one... I guess I don't count with eBay. Oh, boo hoo, I'm just sobbing my little eyes out!

You know, eBay has it all messed up. By the time you get to your red star you don't give a rip.

They should be sending these certificates to folks who have reached, oh, maybe 25 without an NPB?

JMHO...

Now back to the Two-Buck-Chuck

I am just 14 FBs away from my red star; I'll let you know if I get squat. I should tell them I want the same squat that Lucy got, huh?

Well, Roadsmith, just think ... you can print out your red star certificate on your OWN printer and the proudly display it! Personally, I think the bathroom right next to the toilet paper (just in case you run out) would be the perfect spot!

Hi Roadsmith,

I wonder if there's some way I could send you a couple dozen of my extra positives... Then you would have your red star!

The alternate is I'd have to bid on a whole bunch of your auctions so I could leave you positive feedback!

Lindajean -- I know how disappointing this must be. You have worked hard for how long? and ebay has made how much money off of you, and that's the thanks you get?! But know this -- those of us who are on this board or who are sellers KNOW how much work and how long it took and we do applaud you!!! Way to go!!!

Roadsmith -- I don't know what you sell, but I would bid on something of yours if it's something I could use! I probably haven't won anything from you yet so it would count!

I got my red star and turquois star one day apart. I got the email certificates, but no pin, jacket, hummer or anything else. I don't even have a color printer hooked up in here. If I print them out, I'll have 2 certificates with black stars

Lucy, I just have a paltry 4 items (relists at that!) up for sale this week. I'm recovering from a few too busy weeks on Ebay. I don't think there's a thing you could bid on, but I'm confident I'll be at 1,000 within a couple of weeks. I'll start a countdown thread when I'm closer to the goal.

Oh, gee, I do hope I get to download a certificate.

Well don't expect anything more when you get your green star..I got the same opportunity to print my certificate (I didn't)when I got to 5000 a couple of weeks ago. WOuldn't it be nice to get a PayPal gift certificate for $X.00 good on eBay merchandise so we could buy a pen or something? LOL I won't hold my breath.

Hey, linda, I just got my 500 & NO pin, just print out the certificate. To hell with them. Who will see the dam thing besides me?m I just deleted it & went on my way. The congrats I received from members of this chat room meant more to me than a damn certificate. In my lifetime I have been awarded many kudos for my proessional achievments. As far as I am concerned, this is pure BS.
