Just had a bidder win an item using BIN. On my items sold page it shows as the user be NARU'd. However, I click on the auction and then the users feedback number and it says nothing about being NARU. I was also able to just send an invoice. This is just strange. On my items sold page the buyer's user name is left blank. What's up with that?

Maybe he just got NARU'd and the system isn't done updating across the board yet...

Cheryl! I was just reading this morning on ebay's 'safety and trust' board of that same thing happening to another seller!

It must be some kind of glitch-of-the-day.

If they aren't showed as NARU'd on their feedback page, I wouldn't worry. It is problably just a glitch in ebay's system.

Yup, it IS the glitch of the day. Discovered this morning that my only bidder on an item was NARU all of a sudden. No email from eBay, no administrative cancellation. Now, I don't want a bidder on any of my items showing as NARU. Live help to the rescue ... well, it wasn't the rescue. Sorry, writes the helper, it's a problem and tech support is working on it. In the meantime, you can manually cancel the bid. Done.

Go to revise a minor detail, and can't. To make a long story short, apparently even if the item now shows no bids, page two of the revise your item form says it has a bid. What's up with that? TWO hours later, sorry about the inconveniece, but the bidder has to retract the bid in order for it to show as no bids. Hello there! THEN she wants to know how I know *after I give her auction number three times* that he is NARU. Kripes! Check bid history, OK?

It is now 12 hours later, the bidder is still listed as high bidder on auctions on which he is in fact the high bidder -- but with No Longer A Registered User after his name ON the listings, AND in his feedback. I can still contact the member through eBay, which I thought was impossible.

Now you want to know why I'm still cranky?

It's just insane! I don't know if the bidder got the invoice or not. The only page they show as NARU is on my sold page. What a load of crap!
