I know this is kind of off topic, but myspace.com just passed ebay in web traffic.

That is because it is on the news so much lately with the peverts luring teens and kids and all that stuff. Sad you can't go have a web space and just communicate with other kids and the peverts ruin it.

Glad to see the site so popular. Now all the teens and pre-teens have a place of their own to play during summer vacation, instead of coming to Ebay and sport bidding on seller's auctions.

Sparks does raise an interesting scenario. Will the deadbeat rates drop with Myspace becoming such a huge site? Time will tell.

I am going to myspace today and open a blog - this kind of exposure is great and I am very grateful you shared this info. So many people think in terms that EBAY IS THE INTERNET - not true, ebay is ebay but there is a huge world of traffic outside of Ebay. Got to grab as much as you can and direct it to your personal website.

I have to give you credit when credit is due. For once you made sense with your post N.O., and very good advice.

ya know I never thought of doing blogs to promote my ebay sells, not a half bad idea. BUT all the creeps might come more out of the woodwork and or teens bored with their minute to minute life get busy doing driveby bidding.

Great idea. Can't I just list my user name on eBay to get the viewers? Or would that be dangerous, too? I don't have a web page - yet.

Ah, not to worry it's nothing but another craigslist.org. I went RIGHT to the ADULT section,,,you know, need a room, offices for rent, apt to share, need a roomate etc. as I have properties to fill spaces and I saw at a quick glance, they use too much street language NOT like mature adults seeking or Having place to lent or wanted. Not many either, like a small start up compared to CL....words like, crash, Dude, laid back, i am so groovy, I care less if their groovey or cool or laid back, Got the RENT Money, dude???
hahahahaha,,,,just an Upstart CL.

Weirdos are EVERYWHERE,,,,E bay is FULL of them...we deal with them,,,what's NEW?

I stopped drive by bidding cold by going into my ebay preferences and blocking anyone without a paypal account. While I truly loathe paypal, people who do not have an account usually are not serious about buying anything on ebay. People will email me and ask me if it is okay to send a money order and after I check their feedback I will usually say yes if they check out.

Re: myspace.

Since you have to register to even look, a feature which I really loathe for throwaway sites, I can now report my first batch of spams have arrived from myspace.
