Since I had to put shipping fees in my auctions, I keep getting overpayment on shipping costs of multiple items. My account is full of partial refunds. A buyer just overpaid by 14.65, but when I try to give a partial refund, I get this message:
"Note: You can only issue a full refund for this transaction. Please enter the full refund amount below."
Has anyone else had this happen? I don't like giving full refunds, I have had several who then never pay.

Amber: An alternative would be for you simply to "send money" in the amount of the refund, as though you're starting fresh. I've done that.

toni: I have tried again several times, but it always comes up with the same message. I have sent dozens of partial refunds in the last couple of months with no problem. I have gone through all the help on refunding, and there is nowhere I can see that it says a partial payment can't be refunded. I don't know what is going on. Maybe I have reached my maximum on returning partial payments!!

I don't understand it either I'm sure there is no limit on how many partial payments you can make. Maybe you might think of calling Paypal and seeing what the problem is.

I got that message on Friday. My buyer had used someone else's credit card or something like that.
Maybe paypal is being more picky when anything is in question?
