How much is it to send shoes in a Flat rate box that is the size of a shoe box? It seems to me it is 9.00. ?>>

The shoe box is not flat rate but the "Flat rate box that is the size of a shoe box" is flat rate.

You can use the USPS shipping calculator to view rates. http://www.usps.com/tools/calculatepostage/welcome.htm?from=home_header&page=calculatepostage

Small flate rate box-
(same size as the small video box)

Regular Flat Rate Box #1
11" X 8.5" X 5.5"

Regular Flat Rate Box #2
11-7/8" x 3-3/8" x 13-5/8"

Large Flat Rate Box
12” x 12” x 5-1/2”

Shoe Box- standard Priority rates apply
7.5 X 5.125 X 14.375

Go the http://shop.usps.com and click on mailing/shipping to see the various Priority Mail boxes.

Not sure what you mean, LtRay
"The shoe box is not flat rate but the "Flat rate box that is the size of a shoe box" is flat rate."

Niel,
The PO calls the bottom one a shoe box. That is what I was referring to as well.

I always felt that the shoe box was for some really big shoes but the regular flat rate box #1 was perfect for shoes. But then I have small feet.

My 17 year old son wears size 15! I wear 7.5, so he did not get the big feet from my side!
