Hey Everyone quick question.
We all know that coming soon you will not be allowed to use the Vendio checkout on ebay items.
Has anyone turned off the Vendio checkout and just used the ebay checkout to finish their sales. If so how does the backend work. If they just checkout on ebay does the information get sent back to Vendio so you can print invoices etc.
We want to accept credit cards but Vendio doesn't really do that. Our workaround is to use propay but it will not work with Vendio only ebay checkout. We have never turned off the Vendio checkout (which i believe is possible) and only used the ebay system. Another question is anyone using a sight like propay without a merchant account to process cards, and is it intergated with the ebay checkout system.
I can take phone calls to process cards now but that is just a pain for a one person company. Want the screens right there when the checkout is done.

Hello,
Although buyers will no longer be able to check out using Vendio checkout after June 2011, you will still be able to retain all the post-sale support you now enjoy using your Vendio account. Through the eBay/Paypal API, we are able to pull all post-sale data such as buyer's address, payment information, etc. and we will be able to transmit information like the tracking number back to eBay. You should really not notice any difference from the services you are receiving today after this change takes place. This will be relatively invisible to buyers also, as there is no visible Vendio branding during checkout.
Starting in September, authorize.net will be added to as an option for gateway services in eBay. CyberSource will be added in October. If you already have a payment gateway account with one of these providers, you'll be able to add this service directly to eBay Checkout.

Is Propay is an acceptable form of payment on Ebay?
I thought Paypal is the only payment method?
