We have the very same lamps in our bedroom. In fact, I just pulled them to rewire and change the sockets on them. Not sure how this seller determined the price on them... but for the sake of insurance purposes I have made a digital copy of the listing.

We acquired them from an estate about 10 years ago. I think we paid about $150 for them.

after reading the sellers description, I realized there are some unique coincidences and had to contact them.
1) Most obvious, we have the same lamps.
2) They mention that the lamps came from an estate with Hans Wegner pieces of furniture. Our lamps also came from an estate with Hans Wegner pieces.
3) The lamps were from an estate in Michigan, just outside of the Detroit area. Our lamps were from an estate in Washington... however, the history behind them is that the sister of the estate owned a Danish Modern furniture & home decor store back in the 1950's & 60s. She would send her sister furniture and decor for her birthday and Christmas. The sister's store was actually located outside of Detroit as well.
So, there is a very good possibility that these lamps came from the same store in Michigan 50-60 years ago.

Also, in the process of rewiring I discovered a label marked, "Made in Denmark" attached to the iron weight located inside the lamp, above the felt pad. Unfortunately, no designer.
