Can anyone tell me how to take advantage of eBay's 3 free re-lists on auctions and/or if it's even possible through Vendio.

Do not use Vendio, but regular listings you just chick the box before you submit that says automatically relist my item 3 times for free.

I asked this question in the Vendio Services section more than a week ago and still haven't gotten a response! Fixed price listings are eligible for 3 free relists too!

Vendio wants referrals, but as you have just found out, they are ignoring their current customers. I sent in a question to vendio and was completely ignored. So, at the end of the month I am making a referral to my self, and cancelling my account as soon as the current auctions expire.
I have been with them for 13 years, and they use to respond to problems, issues or information. Now they just want my money but not really perform the services they, in my mind, should.

So it's costing me to use Vendio if I am losing the 3 free re-lists....interesting. I am trying to get in touch with vendio.

OK just got of the phone with Vendio. Go to the launch page & on the right side there is a column titled "Relist If Unsold" select "3" and we should be good to go.

Go to eBay and revise the item after launching one of those. At the end of the revision form is the box you check on eBay to participate in automatic relist for free. My items did not have this box checked. So how does eBay know we want to participate in the auto relist feature? Or is the item just automatically relisted through Vendio and not eligible for the free relists (other than the single free relist that has been there forever)? I am not convinced.

Neglus, I don't have a warm fuzzy either. I was just passing on the info from customer service in hopes that someone here could enlighten me.
If I do the revision as you suggest will my vendio inventory show that I have the item for sale or will I have 1 on ebay and vendio show that I have 0 when it relists?

ggardenour - I don't know! If we mark on eBay, will Vendio pick up the auto relist? IF we mark on Vendio, will eBay know we want to participate in the free relist feature? Why couldn't they make the form mark the appropriate box on eBay? The Vendio instructions for the auto relist say that the item is eligible for a single free relist and then we would pay for the next listing and get the 3rd relist free. That is NOT the eBay program. How did you get a hold of Vendio? I wonder if the people that used to help on these boards are even there any more?

I posted on the Vendio board again. The fact that no one else is asking makes me wonder if we are the only ones using Vendio to list any more?

I contacted vendio through the Help tab in the upper right corner. Click the phone option but they are not in until 12:00 EST and they charge $6.
I have 18k items, 2500 are auctions listed during the freebies. If this doesn't work my fees will be through the roof.
Last thing I need is duplicate listings.
Are we the only ones using Vendio to list? I need the SKU on my invoices which eBay doesn't do. Extremely agitated.

I have an auction ending in 1 1/2 hours that I set up with assigned automation. I will see if it gets picked up by vendio when it re-lists. I will keep you posted.

I have about 10000 items in Vendio. All my images are here and I like the ability to relaunch those items after they drop off of eBay (90 days) since the past few years I have taken 6 months off. I don't want to leave but this does matter...let me know what you find out.

I like vendio for the most part. Like all things it isn't perfect. This issue is bothersome. I am pretty certain this item will not appear in vendio as listed on Ebay when it re-lists.

I don't blame you for stepping away! I am afraid to use either the Vendio auto relist or the eBay one until I know for sure how it works! When you feel like dealing with it again I's like to know: Did you revise ebay to auto relist, or did you add autorelist to Vendio? Apparently neither one worked?

I set it up through eBay, check on item-Automation Rules-Assign-Rule: Relist as Fixed Price-Rule Settings(3).
Looking closer, I may have needed to uncheck the first box in the template section.

I don't know how the automation tab works. I saw a box to check to auto relist for free 3 x's at the bottom of the ebay listing form when I was revising for another reason. I don't know if there is a way to revise this in bulk and of course the million dollar question, will the item relist automatically on Vendio? I am guessing it won't and we would have to import the ebay relisted item to Vendio and then remove the unsold item from inventory to make sure we don't list again.

We got an answer in the Vendio Services board from Sunlil! Apparently the Vendio auto relist counts as an eBay auto relist. Woo Hoo!
"Thank you for writing in. You can setup your "Auto relist" options on Vendio Under My Account> Site specifics>eBay page. Your listing closes without a winner you can have it automatically relisted to eBay. Check 'Enable Auto Relist' below to enable this feature and set the desired number of times that you want this listing to be relisted (as long as the item stays unsold). eBay's current Auto Relist policy is:
Relisting an item automatically
You can easily set up your listing to relist automatically.
When you relist your item automatically:
Your item is relisted up to 3 times if it doesn't sell.
Each time your item is relisted, the duration of the listing will be the same as the prior listing period for that item.
You can revise your listing at any time during the relisting period. Our rules on revising listings apply. Learn more about restrictions on revising listings.
After the first insertion fee for the listing, you aren't charged additional insertion fees for the relisted item.
Aside from the initial listing, automatically relisted items don't count toward your monthly free-insertion-fee listings. (For example, if you list an item and it automatically relists 3 times, it counts as one free-insertion-fee listing.) Learn more about free-insertion-fee listings.
You're charged the fees for any advanced listing upgrades you selected each time your item is relisted."

Awesome!!!! OK, great minds what are your thoughts on running 3 x 10 day FP vs 3 x 30 day FP. Cost wise 3x30 is cheaper but on the other hand more exposure on 3x10.

You may want to double check with eBay regarding the 3 free relists. Not all sellers are eligible, they are targeting low volume sellers.

What did ebay tell you about the 3x's free relist program?
I tested the Vendio relist and now some have ended. It looks like I am being charged. I don't think Vendio's autorelist is plugged into the eBay auto relist.

Also I tested a couple of auctions by revising the listing and checking the box at the bottom for the free 3x auto relist. The item relisted on eBay, but appears as unsold on Vendio. I am not even to import the item to Vendio as the "track" function cannot find the new item number.
This stinks! And then Vendio image hosting went down for a couple of hours last night....
I wonder if Chris and Nathan are still at Vendio CS?

Spoke to Chris a month or two ago. So I'm not sure of his current status.
It was glitchy last night and had some page loading issues today.

I list directly thru Ebay and love the automatic relist. It seems eventually someone buys an item even without any changes or price reduction.

ggarden - Chris answered my question about the Vendio relist today. The Vendio auto relist IS NOT THE SAME as the free eBay ebay 3x relist.
The Vendio relist is designed to list an item, relist for free, relist again as a new item and then relist for free again. This is the old way when Ebay gave us credits for the relists. They have not addressed the new way and are not certain how it works with API.

Has this option gone away? I have listed some items and this button is not longer at the bottom of the listing page.
Are there a certain # of times you can use it or was it just a promo that has expired??
