Customer buys item, customer changes mind, cancels order and I get a defect. How does that work?

How and when did you cancel the order?

There should be no defect when customer cancels order.

Can a customer cancel a transaction now.
I know soon a buyer will be able to cancel within an hour but has that started?

Called eBay and the bottom line is a seller should never cancel a transaction, if the buyer wants to cancel the transaction, the buyer MUST be the one to start the cancellation process or it's a "defect"

I see nothing but bad things coming from the new defect rules.

Upside the buyer bought & paid for two items the following day gave me glowing feedback. Live and learn. Wonder how bad that hurts on the search.
