I list model kits as I am thinning down my collection. I had some kits that were missing parts, and listed them as "Junk kits, incomplete, sold "as is as pictured".
So you look at the pictures, what you see is what you get auction 271974158840 for example.
The guy writes me after getting the junk kits, and complains I must have taken the pictures "cleverly" because parts were missing he wanted.
He claims I should have listed the missing parts??? for a $10 purchase.
I ask him if the parts are in the pictures? you can blow up the pictures 4x with vendio and do a complete search. Did you see the parts in the pictures you wanted? If not, they are not included. This is the second idiot in two weeks to basically say the same thing.
I wanted to say "if they were stuck up your ass you would know if they were included, but I was nice, refunded his money.
Are the buyers so stupid now that they cannot even read an ad? Just frustrated with ebay and the no bad feedback to buyers policy.

They are not stupid, they just want to make money using your parts .
there is a thread now on Ebay forum-a buyer bought a pocket watch in parts ,repairs.
He replaced the broken main spring and think it would run,but then there is also something wrong with the hands.
So he filed a dispute and lost

You are right, I am the stupid honest one. Now I see what you are talking about. I will see if that person is selling anything.
Never really thought of it as a scam, but I guess it is.
