I don't know how many of you are happy with Vendio. I have been a customer for 13 years, and quite frankly, am sick of the lack of attention to errors and shortcomings that now (still) are in the Vendio system. Over the years I have sent in logical user suggestions, and they don't listen.
Something as simple as opening up the text box main listing when ebay expanded the titles to the auctions. An easier way to look across the Pending listing page with different colors or patterns to follow the right auctions to relist. The errors and trip ups on their listing page when you change the "return policy" for yes to no, and if you try to edit the text after that, it dumps the whole auction. I guess they just don't care any more (never did I guess). Now the closed listing page has a huge error in it to archive listings with multiple available. Anyone else have this problem with the listing page let alone The close page for relisting and achieving. Perhaps ebays system now is better than Vendio and Vendio is not worth the money.
Any thoughts?

Oh, there are more. When you have one or more closed listings in your "closed listing" on your control panel, you have a link to the closed listings so you can bring up a closed listing and modify it or set it up as is. However, if you don't have any closed listings, you get this note.
"You currently have no closed listings. You can import recently closed listings by selecting Import from the left-hand navigation."
Guess what, it doesn't work because it is outdated info. Why in the heck you would remove the link from the closed listing page because it is empty is beyond me. You need someone like me, who does QAQC for million dollar projects to help you find all of your error or bugs. I have always said Vendio is "user vicious", but could be made a lot more friendly. Why do you want to make it hard on your customers?

Today ANOTHER ERROR trying to relist. I tried to relist 4 auctions and got another error message. Is this product out of test yet after 13 years?

Error with the counter system! error counter already exists! So today I cannot even relist stuff because the system is a failure and not maintained.

I HAVE TO AGREE WITH YOU. I COULD NOT POST AUCTIONS FOR 4 DAYS BECAUSE OF A GLITCH IN THEIR SHIPPING MODES. IT'S SOMEWHAT FIXED BUT I STILL HAVE TO MAKE CHANGES ON MY NEW AUCTIONS TO GET IT TO LIST. I HAVE BEEN WITH VENDIO ABOUT AS LONG AS YOU. I AGREE THEY SEEM TO GET WORSE AND ARE STILL BACKWARD. I AM LOOKING INTO OTHER COMPANY'S. MOST ARE MUCH CHEAPER. AS YOU KNOW THOUGH IT WILL TAKE ONE OF US A MONTH TO GET ORGANIZED WITH SUCH A MAJOR CHANGE. SINCE WE ARE ON THE SUBJECT HOW DID YOU LIKE THE NIGHTMARE PENNY PROGRAM ? I WAS ON THE PHONE WITH EBAY FOR AN HOUR. THEY FINALLY ADMITTED THAT THEY SCREWED UP BUT COULD DO NOTHING FOR ME !

Ebay is dying. They have totally forgotten it is the sellers who drive their market, not the buyers. It all begins with the sellers.

Ebays first major blunder was eliminating seller bad feedback. They have allowed predatory buyers to rip off sellers using eBay's own rules.

I had a hell of a time, and still do, revising combined invoices when the purchaser makes addition purchases and wants the new ones combined with the old ones. The only way to fix this is to uncombined purchases and then recombine. The instructions are missing. This is a common thing we do, but Ebay has not a clue what they are doing. It is EEOs and illegal aliens they must have working for them IMO, to be so incompetent.
Stupid morons!!!!

If Ebay is dying, then why are you still there?
If my customer wants to buy more,I will just tell them to go ahead and place more orders and I will give them partial refund.

I have to disagree,no retailer should badmouth their customer in public!
We should block them from future purchase, like all the retailers do,do you see Bestbuy,Macy,Walmart running huge ads badmouthing each of their scammer/customer?

I am sorry, I have been sell out me and my passed brother's stuff for many years. If you need to block them, then those are the customers you SHOULD be badmouthing, because they are rip off artist. If this is the case, it is called criminal fraud. For some reason, I just want to know if they ripped YOU off, to see if it is a pattern with this customer, or they are genuine.
Your bad (or good)feedback as a seller makes it easy for me.
In the old days, I would read a bidders feedback. If they have more than a couple of bad feedbacks, I would delete their bid and block them based on YOUR experience with them. I am sure Walmart would love to have such information so they could also block them from purchasing in their stores.
Forewarned is forearmed.

we used to be able to leave feedback just by asking a question !
Now it has all changed, bidders have told Ebay they are afraid to leave negative feedback to a seller afraid of retaliation,so Ebay comes up with new policy, thous shall not neg your buyer !
Ebay considers buyers to be Ebay buyers,if buyer misbehaves,Ebay takes action like suspending their buying privilege or kick them out of Ebay.
You may want to look for another venue ,or look at some of the items you sell, certain categories just attract scammers and low ball bidders

I understand your point. What about a buyer that bides on an item for over $100. They Never pay and don't even pay after 2 weeks. In the meantime you have a back up bidder you could have sold it to for $2.00 less. By the time the matter gets cleared up you have lost the sale on the second bidder. Are you saying that as sellers it's not fair and to go find another venue to sell ? Due to this happening several times over 2 years I have blocked over 20 bidders from buying from me. Why as sellers do you not think we should be able to put negatives. OR maybe I am misunderstanding you post ?

selling has risks, more so in cyberspace and more so using auction format.
Ebay is a fleamarket, bidders love the chase and the adrenaline (cant spell it) keeps them bidding higher and higher.
Then they find out they cant really afford it,or they dont really need it or they overpaid ,so it becomes a case of buyer remorse and refuse to pay.
The second high bidder figures you will relist the item and he could get it at a lower price, all he has to do is to wait !
Ebay will eventually suspend the high bidder if he does not pay ,but it does not help your case.
I have seen this many times, second bidder lost interest, the chase is over and they move on to another chase or wait for you to relist.
We all have our business model, some prefer BIN with immediate payment required, set a price you are willing to accept, enough to pay the bills and turn a profit and skip all the headache with auction style bidding!
You must have some good results if you keep using auction style selling ,what is that saying, you win some, you lose some, such is life.
NO OFFENSE,THATS JUST EBAY FOR US !
As for leaving negative feedback or positive feedback with negative tone,it is not allowed on Ebay,Ebay owns the venue.

You make some very good points. I do alot of auctions because overall I get better results. Mostly I use my monthly hundred or more because I am on that program. I also do a lot of buy it now's because I have 1000 a month but NEVER reach it. To me it appears that I get a lot of hits on auctions and less then help on but it now's. Why I don't know do you. I actually would rather do all buy it nows because they will buy it and move on. In addition I can list them for 30 days and not maintain them every single week. I have one question for you. Has your sales been like a roller coaster these past 6 months ? Thanks for responding you should be on ebay radio. Thanks Kevin

Hi Kevin,
Sales has been slow,it was not like the good old days, and not like back in 2012,2013!
I am selling half as much as 2013,but I am more profitable,I have been selling small items with higher margin than big items with lower margin.
I paid lower fee and less hassles !
I use auctions to clear some stuff and the sell thru rate is pathetic ,not even 10%.
I think the consumers are tapped out, eating out less, driving less and stay home and stream movies and shop on AMZN with their prime membership!
I hope this coming holiday seasons will bring some good news !

Old Ebay USE to be a flea market. It isn't any more.
Giving bad feedback to customers who are criminals or scammers lets me know that this customer has some issues. I just don't want to sell to this type of person. The only way I can make this decision is with information.
And don't believe ebay ejects these scammers and thieves.
And yes, I am considering jettisoning both Vendio and Ebay. Vendio for failure to keep their software up to date, and ebay for allowing scammers and thieves to operate out in the open without any ramifications.

where would you go?
Etsy customer service is very poor, and they are just starting to learn about scammers (both buyers and sellers).
I have submitted more disputes on Etsy in 2 years than the 20 years I have been on Ebay.

Just curious, how much do you pay Vendio each month since you said you have been on Vendio for 13 years?
Is it worth it?
