What do you all do with your used underwear? I have seen some that sell their panties on Ebay? Are they good sellers? Should you wash them first?

Nothing like a good panty thread....

I understand that cheerleaders' panties sell well on eBay. I suppose the seller should be in his/her cheerleading outfit with a bit of panty showing so that the buyer would know that he (I'm being general here - it's usually a "he" )is getting the real thing. No misrepresentation. I mean, someone wouldn't want to get a tennis pro's panties by mistake.

I made a "Comfort Quilt" from my unwashed panties, and sent it to my ex. <br />

Good thinking Choco! I am impressed by your creativity. I like that Idea so much I might just make mine into a "comfort quilt" and sell it on Ebay. That is, as long as you don't own a patent or anything. You wouldn't VERO me would you?

Enchanted it would take a lot more than a little panty thread to surpass your infamy. You have nothing to fear from me!

Why thank you rawbunzel. Yes, please do go ahead and make your comfort quilt. Just remember they must be unwashed panties. Also, it's best to use hi cut bikinis, thongs were hard to stitch. Use nice bright colors with a few plaids for contrast.

The mind boggles with the possibilities! Thank you Choco for giving me free rein. I'm thinking lace trim and ribbon at the corners. I agree the thongs will be hard to incorporate but what the heck..anything for art,eh?

LOL I think the lace and ribbons will be a nice touch. Can't wait to see the finished work of art. Should bring big bucks on eBay!

So, I'm thinking that with the panties that actually have bottoms they could be filled with batting to make them all fluffy and nice so that they really resembled buttocks. What's a quilt without filling? I may have to put a bra in there somewhere.........

What do you think Choco? A bra might add interest. It could be batting stuffed as well.

Great idea about the batting to make cute little butts. I don't think a bra should be included though. How about making a pillow with batting filled bras? Men love to rest their heads on nice soft boobs, right? So, any where they lay their heads on the pillow they will be on or in between boobs.

Choco...I think we may be on to something here.... pillows with a nice bra shaped cushiony head holder.I was thinking a full length quilt with full form people on it ,puffed up in the appropriate places. Would be funny don't you think? Fully clothed of course. HEY..Maybe we could make them so that their clothing snaped on and off.HaHaHaHa...

There but for a knowledge of quilting go I.....

edited..it's their not there..

Wow!

Look what happens while the moderator is sleeping! This sheds another light on a thread becoming "personal".

The "Boobillows" is a wonderful marketing idea. You better copyright it fast, and get a patent, or you'll be seeing it next year in the Harriet Carter and Hanover House direct mail merchandise catalogs. I'm being serious.

I love the removable underwear idea. Very interesting.

Enchanted..It is a pretty good name isn't it? LOL I have lots of ideas in my head, I could be rich if only I followed through on some of them. I could be another Ron Popeil!!! Sometimes I get on a roll and out they come. They are not always good ideas..just ideas...

Choco, maybe we should make some and test market them on Ebay? You a seamstress?

As moderator I say there's nothing quite as comforting or logical as plain white, natural cotton full figure panties.

How many pair would it take to make a quilt?

Depends on the size of the panty. A moderator like yourself would probably only need a couple of pairs.

Just want to move this U thread up to the top...No reason ....

A moderator like yourself would probably only need a couple of pairs.

Shows what you know... have you considered the shrinkage factor? Cotton shrinks so it would obviously take a minimum of three pair to make a decent quilt.

You lose ten points for not thinking before you post.

There will be no shrinkage, mybiddness, because you aren't supposed to wash them.
