You have been? Hello to you too. But I sure don't recall ever posting to your userid. Maybe you can refresh my memory?

We had friendly correspondence on the other site. We discussed the Israel situation via private message. I have tried to send private message to your old id but that site is blocking communication to you since you know. I left for a few days and came back and people had gotten ousted.

We also e-mailed each other years ago when this was Auctionwatch; however, eudoramail shut down so I no longer have anyone's e-mail address that I emailed from that email addy or I would've emailed you. That was years ago though.

So, how have you been?

I think Linda has been communicating with a page from Capitol Hill

I have tried to send private message to your old id but that site is blocking communication to you since you know.

Linda you have to unblock your messages if you want all the juicy details to be leaked to the public. Have you been sending naughty pictures of yourself across the internet again.

Well...I must be having a 'senior' moment...because I sure don't remember your current userid.

I never had my email address listed on the RT. I gave it out once to someone who asked me for it.....but that was a male person.

On otwa...I did have my email address listed publically. And it doesn't surprise me that it's not working since I was banned from posting here because the whining babies couldn't handle differing opinions.

But, if you'd like to email me again....I can be reached at [edited out].

I'm beginning to think that maybe you used a different userid at that time. As I do remember discussing the Israel situation with someone when I did post on otwa.

But to your question about how I'm doing....I'm doing well, thank you. Not posting as much and doing more fun things. Getting ready for all my family to come visit at Thanksgiving....should have about 15-16 people here. And I've gotten all my Christmas shopping done, wrapped so I'm already looking forward to enjoying the Christmas season. Hoping for snow too. But loving the changing of the leaves right now. It's such a beautiful time of year. Cooler weather...all the different colors in the trees. It's just beautiful.

Oh and I'm in the middle of having the whole outside of my house re-done. From a new roof, walls down to the flower beds.

And you? How are you doing?

ROFLOL....sure. If that had ever happened my ISP would have surely cancelled my account with them. lol

Besides after your vacation and long visit with crowfarm...I knew then that experience was not something I'd ever put MYSELF through. LOL

YOU were the brave one, classic. To have survived THAT visit....took a very strong person.

hoosier...hill dweller, rough and uncouth....used generally to describe a backwoodsman, especially an ignorant boaster, with an overtone of crudeness and even lawlessness.

Some interesting characters pass through here every now and then....some admit what they are and some do not.

Very few proudly announce themselves as members of a group with a pejorative label. I am looking forward to the day when she will announce herself as a "pea-brain".

"A Hoosier?-no sh*t-where did you live? My high school sweetheart lives in Evansville. I was there in 1966 and 1967."

In Indianapolis until the age of 5. Moved out to CA then. From that point on...just spent the full summers and a few winter vacations on my grandparents farm all the way though 1966, when I graduated from high school.

My maternal great-grandparents came over from England. They settled in the northern part of the state....and the next five generations were [still are] farmers in a tiny, one block town about 14 miles from Logansport. [north-west part of northern IN]

So I grew up a 'part-time' farmer girl. Haven't been back 'home' since 1990 though. I still have a lot of family there...living all over the northern part of the state....cousins mostly...and one 90 year old aunt still alive.....[good stock, those Hoosiers ]

I remember you sharing about your fiance.....the one that got away, I believe... ...I think you said she was from Indiana. right?

Back Home In Indiana......

I have always been a wand'rer
Over land and sea

Yet a moonbeam on the water
Casts a spell o'er me

A vision fair I see
Again I seem to be

Chorus

Back home again in Indiana,
And it seems that I can see
The gleaming candlelight, still burning bright,
Through the sycamores for me.

The new-mown hay sends all its fragrance
Through the fields I used to roam.

When I dream about the moonlight on the Wabash,
How I long for my Indiana home.

Second verse

Fancy paints on mem'ry's canvas
Scenes that we hold dear
We recall them in days after
Clearly they appear
And often times I see
A scene that's dear to me

(repeat chorus)
===============

Another favorite of mine:

On the Banks of the Wabash

by Paul Dresser(Background sound is the music)

'Round my Indiana homestead wave the cornfields,

In the distance loom the woodlands clear and cool,

Oftentimes my tho'ts revert to scenes of childhood,
Where I first received my lessons - nature's school.

But one thing there is missing in the picture,
Without her face it seems so incomplete,
I long to see my mother in the doorway,
As she stood there years ago, her boy to greet.

 CHORUS

Oh, the moonlight's fair tonight along the Wabash,

From the fields there comes the breath of new-mown hay,

Through the sycamores the candle lights are gleaming,
On the banks of the Wabash, far away.

Many years have passed since I strolled by the river,
Arm in arm, with sweetheart Mary by my side,

It was there I tried to tell her that I loved her,
It was there I begged of her to be my bride.

Long years have passed since I strolled thro' the churchyard.
She's sleeping there, my angel, Mary dear,

I loved her, but she thought I didn't mean it,
Still I'd give my future were she only here.

It's nice that the two of you have kept in contact all these years...and still maintain a friendship. At least up until your last email to her that is.

Yes, classic....haven't you heard the rumor? That's logansdad MO. If he doesn't like what you say....then he sends a ton of gay porno garbage to your email address.

Like I've said before....gays like him give ALL gays a bad reputation by their behavior.

I'm sure IF he does to me, what he's done to other posters....his ISP will be hearing it along with his THREAT of doing just that.

For clarification purposes:

First....using the word 'rumor' wasn't correct. I've had other posters tell me that's what logansdad has done to them. THEY could verify they believed it was logansdad who sent that filth to them.
And no, I'm never going to mention their names here.

But it appears to be some sort of 'very sick' pattern of action when logansdad loses control.

Secondly....I want it perfectly clear.....there to be no doubt about it....that I NEVER want logansdad to email me at all....with anything or I will report him both to Vendio for harassment and to his ISP. All ISP have rules against this harrassment.

Yes classic, I do live in the great state of Minnesota. Yes, we are not perfect as we do have many cowfarms here. But we have many more non-demomorons that have made this state one of the greatest in the nation that it is today.

Without proof, allegations and rumors by others mean nothing at all. So try to move on instead of constantly whining here and threatening to tattle to Vendio all the time when you post your e-mail address on a public board where any whacko can impersonate anyone else. Vendio personnel probably have much more important issues to attend to daily than the constant ranting and tattling from an elderly shut-in fixated on board life.
