And for those of you who aren't aware....San Francisco is the area in CA that nancy PELOSI, your newly to-be speaker of the HOUSE, represents.
But They Support the Troops!
SURE they do.
The tolerance and open-mindedness of America's most liberal city was on display at a Veterans Day parade, the San Francisco Chronicle reports:
Ray Smith, an Army Vietnam War veteran who runs the JROTC program at Mission High School, said that he and other former soldiers believe that the military cannot abandon the mission in Iraq.
"Rumsfeld never should have been in charge, but now we can either run like cowards or we can stay until we get the job done," Smith said. "Even though it was a bad idea in the first place, we have to try to get back our credibility in the world . . . all we can do is try."
The other issue troubling Smith was the strong possibility that the San Francisco school board will decide Tuesday to discontinue the JROTC [Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps] program at Mission High and six other San Francisco high schools at the end of the school year.
A majority of board members say the benefits of the 90-year-old program are not worth the association with the U.S. military, an institution they consider discriminatory, homophobic and at odds with the mission of public education.
When John Kerry suggested that U.S. servicemen were uneducated losers, he was not just speaking for himself.
While the democratic party complains about everything THIS President does to protect our Nation:
What would a Democrat president have done at that point? Apparently, the answer is: Sit back and wait for the next terrorist attack.

Just pointing out once again...that actions speak louder than words.
The liberals give only lip service to supporting our troops.
But when we see their actual ACTIONS....it PROVES differently.
Most wouldn't see not allowing recruitment on high school and college campus' as 'supporting our troops'.
Most wouldn't see kerry saying our troops were acting like terrorists in Iraq....as as 'supporting our troops'. Nor would they seen his insult about being sent to Iraq....as being anything other than degrading our troops. NOT supporting them.
It's easy to say we appreciate our troops - give lip service to them - but then agree with the slandering/insulting/making it harder for those who might want to volunteer from doing so.
Talk is cheap.

She ROFL each time more deaths are reported and more coffins come home.
She compares their deaths to traffic accidents and supports comments like 'sh!t happens' and laughs even more.
She doesn't realize women serve in Iraq and Afghanistan but when she is informed she insults them and calls them 'HE-MEN"
She rides on the service of her son thinking that now she has served also while she puts down others who have actually served or have family members serving.
Her LIP SERVICE on Veteran's Day is when she spits venom all over a tribute topic and ridicules those who really go out and support the troops as she posts more hatred over the internet and calls out for more deaths and more war, all the while laughing her head off nonstop.

Don't they do so well as comedians? I think they're great jokers.
Anyone who has EVER read my posts about our troops....would NEVER draw the crazy conclusions kiara constantly does.

Absolutely incredible that a American municipality would vote to remove an ROTC program. We should vote to "remove" our Federal tax dollars from supporting these crackpots.

Of course I remember that one, Linda and I remember that fast edit you did down the page there. You knew women served as nurses but that was about the extent of your knowledge.
BTW, that thread was started by Libra the Beadlady about the time she went undercover as Septembermom to insult a few people with her expertise on health care and flu shots and prescription drugs from Canada but she still sounded the very same as always and didn't fool me one bit ....... hahahaha, I miss her.
And where is your ‘son’ Twelvepole/Washingtonebaby these days? At least he had a sense of humor at times.
