Here's a handy link to a "days between calculator":

http://www.timeanddate.com/date/duration.html

You can enter a date like June 22, 2001, for instance, in one box and September 30, 2001 in another and come up 100 days.

I find this "days between calculator" to be quite useful.

Your post is over the line and the attitude uncalled for. I am issuing a warning and, given that you have received 2 warning recently, I suggest you tread cautiously.

The Community Guidelines require respect and consideration between Users. it might be a good idea to click on the link and start reading. Continuing in this current manner will inevitably lead to the suspension of your Message Center privileges.

Thanks Michelle for warning Russ about the bad language. That type of language is tolerated at BV but I'm glad it is forbidden here.

While Russell's language was bad as well as his tone...Dimview provokes people and fully intends to do so. I personally feel myself defending anyone or any site, in response to her comments...even when I no longer want to cheerlead a particular site.

No one is forced to read Dimviews posts.

Doesn't AuctionWatch provide an "ignore" option? If anyone doesn't care for the messages posted by dimview, then one button click will greatly simplify your reading.

I just wanted to state that I disagree with the person that said obscene launguage is permitted at Bidville. I personally have had 3 posts removed for telling dirty jokes and for writing the correct name for genitalia. Bidville doesn't have a Moderator who moniters the boards. But when something is brought to their attention and enough complaints warrant a removal. It does happen. Nobody is immune to suspension or removal of their posts. How ya doing Russ? Looking foward to getting my Burma Shave jar.

RichHillBilly ... the word used was tolerated not permitted. Russell, like Cuff before him, was suspended by AW for improper conduct. BV does not care an iota about improper conduct on it's boards unless it is out and out vulgar and only removes the offending post if a substantial number of complaints are received. The moderated message centers are abhored by many but I personally think AW does an excellent job of controlling the content on their venue.

bidsbids,

Thank you for your kind words about AuctionWatch. However, I must remind you that discussion of other messages boards is not permitted here.

If I used my ignore button, then you might get the perception that everyone enjoyed your posts! I can't have that happening, now can I?

I just want to clarify that I was not posting in reference as to what RussellJDS has said. I have not a clue as to what he said. Russell and I have sparred on ocassion. But I have bought from many that I have sparred with. I also feel the Moderators do a great job at A.W. Sometimes I feel the punishment to be a little harsh. But hey! I miss half the posts that were removed. So I can pass no judgement. See ya'll, Hillbilly

Everyone,

Please stop with the personal comments. deichen, your post in particular is very close to the line. Please remember to treat all your fellow AW members with respect and consideration.

Also, a reminder that suspended members may not be discussed as they cannot be here to respond. No more discussion of suspended members, please. If such comments continue, the thread will be locked.
