Vendio: Post-Sale Acceleration and PayPal
When you enable the PayPal payment-tracking features of Post Sale Acceleration, Vendio will use PayPal's IPN Notification system to detect payments. Based on the notification, Vendio will update the Post Sale Management system to reflect when payment was received and apply a credit for that amount.
Note: PayPal notification only works with VERIFIED accounts. Please make sure that you have a verified account at PayPal before activating PayPal notifications.
If you have a personal account at PayPal (Where can I find my account type)
- Login to PayPal
- Click the "Profile" tab
- In the "Selling Preferences" section, click "Instant Payment Notification Preferences"
- Check the checkbox to enable Instant Payment Notifications
- Enter (copy and paste) the following URL into the URL textbox:
http://ipn.vendio.com//paypal_ipn.cgi
- Press the "Save" button

PayPal notifications will be activated immediately. Look for automatic payment status updates in Post Sale Management. Automation includes:
- Checking step 3 (payment received) of PSM (if the total amount received is greater than or equal to the amount due)
- Updating the amount received
- Updating the buyer information (shipping address, phone...)
- Login to PayPal
- Click the "Profile" link
- Click the "Instant Payment Notification Preferences" link under the "Selling Preferences" section
- Click the "Edit" button
- Check the checkbox to enable Instant Payment Notifications
- Enter (copy and paste) the following URL into the URL textbox:
http://ipn.vendio.com//paypal_ipn.cgi
- Press the "Save" button
