While on a mission Hanaki is about to hit his target when the man falls dead seemingly at the hands of schoolgirl Rio.
Hanaki flees the scene with Rio and takes her back to the flat he and Misaki share. Hanaki is then given the instructions that he should kill the girl to protect them and their organization from being compromised, but he can’t bring himself to do it, which puts a price on the heads of both Hanaki and Rio.
