This high quality watch chain is hallmarked on every link and the hallmark on the swivel clasp was only used by Herbert Bushell & Son from 1914-1925, dating this beautiful chain with some precision. The weight of the chain is a substantial 130 grams and it's sterling silver, very rich in color with the patina of age. I bought it to wear as a necklace and might have hung pendants or fobs from the swivel clasp. These are graduated links, approximately 1/2" at the center and tapering to about 1/4" near the ends. End to end, the length is about 17.5". These elegant, substantial, old pieces are hard to find, especially those which are long enough to wear as necklaces, and this one is in excellent vintage condition with no problems. It feels great to the ahnd and in person looks better than the pictures. It's a strong, rich, piece, genuine old world quality.
