If you want the walker to not have wheels, that is what the two extensions and two caps that you see in the photos are for. The way the walker is normally, both sides extend to accomodate a 6' person. When you pull off the extenders that are attached to the wheels, you can attach the separate extenders with the rubber glade caps attached..Then, on the other side, you remove both of those extenders and attach the TWO rubber glide caps and you have a fully functional walker without wheels.....
