In 1996 I was watching a reality show
with my family. In the show, a lady was choking. Her 4 year old son was
wise enough to dial 911. EMS responded but could not find the condo she
was living in since all the condos looked alike and the addressing was
on the mailbox. I though, there has to be a better way. The Responder
is the answer to this question. The Responder attaches to your home
phone line and monitors your phone system for anyone on any phone who
dials 911. Once the Responder hears the 911 phone number dialed, the
110dB alarm and flashing strobe light activates. The Responder is fully
automatic and integrated; it patiently listens for you to dial 911, and
then goes to work, alerting your neighbors and EMS to your distress.
This loud and bright alarm instantly alerts your neighbors that you are
in trouble. It continues to alarm to alert the EMS team as they drive
down your street. There is no need to send someone out to flag down the
EMS team, your Responder will do all the work and allow family,
neighbors and friends to tend to the victims needs. The Responder also
has a test feature that allows you to test the alarm from your phone.
You can also reset the alarm from your phone.
