Responder 911 is a fully self contained, battery operated alarm device that activates whenever anyone dials 911 from a home phone where it is installed.  The 110dB alarm and strobe light alerts neighbors and EMS units of the location of the emergency.  This enables neighbors to help as well as expediting the EMS arrival because it will be very easy for anyone to find the home with this alarm installed.

The Responder is made of weather and UV resistant materials.  It mounts on the outside of your home and attaches to the Telephone Network interface box located on the side of each home.  You may also plug the Responder into any telephone jack in your home and suction-cup the Responder to the outside of the closest window.  This option is great for apartments.

The Responder operates on 4 AA batteries and will provide excellent performance of over a year on the 4 batteries.  The Responder has a built in battery monitor which will alert you when the batteries need to be changed.  A beep will be played in your phones ear piece when it's time to change the batteries.

The Responder also can be tested by dialing # # # from your home phone and can be reset by dialing * * * from the home phone.  This feature is also useful if you hear a strange noise and wish to "scare" it away be activating the alarm.
