Kalanchoe gastoni bonerii 'Donkey Ears' Young Plant
*** Very unusal ... often hard to come by ... Donkey Ear young plant on offer ***
The Kalanchoe gastoni, also known as the 'Donkey Ear' plant, is a structural succulent, originating from Madagascar. It has very unique grey/green leaves, which droop much like a donkey's ears. At the end of the leaves, a small plantlet will form, which can be easily propagated (similiar to the ones shown above at the end of the plant leaves). This feature makes it a great hanging plant, feature plant in a tall pot, or in landscaping.
Once the plant reaches maturity, it will put out tall bold flower stems and blooms which are attractive to honey eating birds. It is very hardy, drought tolerant, and requires minimal care.
