Hello!  Thank you for checking out my store.  I am a former stamp collector who collected stamps since I was 7 years old.  I have simply lost interest in collecting and decided to quit.  I'm not only selling off my very high value collection, but all of the unsorted material I had intended to go through.  As an advanced collector I purchased all sorts of lots, including some that cost me over $2,000 for just a handful of stamps.  I also purchased unique country lots.  My South America collection was especially valuable.  I have decided not to sell anything off individually to dealers or via country lots.  The stamps valued at $1,000 and higher will not be sold separately, either - they will all be in these lots.  There is enough material for about 300-400 lots.

Considering the massive number of high value items and the relatively small number of lots, your odds of finding treasure in your lot is pretty high.  I do not have a scale, so I measure everything out with my shoebox.  The source material includes Commemorative (common and unusual), Definitives (low and high value), Extremely Old, Very Recent, Mint, Unfranked, Specimen, Proof, Imperfs, Errors (look carefully for these - they're in there!), Rare Overprints, Souvenir Sheets, Full Sheets, Oddly Shaped, Valuable Cinderellas, etc.

Some of the interesting items I have seen in the lots are Penny Reds, Blacks, and Blues; Chalon Heads, Van Diemen's Land, German Zeps, Cape of Good Hope Triangles, and Confederate U.S. stamps.  This list only begins to scratch the surface, though.

About 75% of the stamps in the source material are completely unsearched.  I had purchased them from various places and never got a chance to go through them.  I know that a lot of the stamps in these unsearched mixes are desirable because I saw lots of great stuff while composing these lots.  Unsearched mixes also can contain damaged and common items, too.  I think the good stuff more than compensates for the bad stuff, though.  I tried to remove as many duplicates as I could find and provide good variety, but some lots will probably contain more of one country despite my best efforts.  I did not collect CTO's or Trucial States/Sand Dunes and therefore I avoided purchasing lots that contained them.  There were always some that snuck in, though, so you'll probably find some in your lot.  Most of the stamps are Scott-listed, though.

I will transfer all of the items in your box to a small flat-rate Priority Mail box (full to the brim!) or a flat-rate envelope, if there are full sheets.  If you live outside of the US I will ship everything in a well-protected mailing envelope, due to the high cost of sending Priority Mail abroad. Shipping is free to all corners of the globe!
