KM3000 PORTABLE KEY MILL



Cut a new, full-depth, 6 inch (152 mm)
keyway in less than 4 minutes.

The KM3000 Portable Key Mill is a simple, rugged, dependable machine
tool designed to cut keyways in shafts without extensive dismantling. The
automatically centering V-base is quick and easy to set up. The KM3000 clamps
on any shaft up to 4.5 inches (114 mm) in diameter with the standard bar clamp. Cut stub-end keyways or
mid-shaft keyways. Clamp the machine to a flat surface, and you can cut motor
mount slots. With the optional shim kit you can cut keyways or slots in shafts as
small as 0.75 inch (19 mm) in diameter.

Insert the proper end mill in the spindle of the KM3000 Key Mill and clamp it on the
shaft...it's that simple. On a straight shaft an experienced operator can mount the
machine and be ready to cut a new keyway in less than five minutes! Shimming to
fit tapered shafts may take a little longer.
