1. Are the garnets genuine?
   Yes, we only sell genuine garnets. If stated in the desription as bohemian garnets
   the garnets were mined and cut in Bohemia (Czeck Republic)
   
   
2. What is antique gold plating?
   Antique gold plating is a thick rose gold wash over the metal (either Silver or Tombak).
   That special antique rose gold wash is very thick ( about 10 milliemes) for lasting a
   lifetime. Todays fashion jewelry in comparison is only 1 to 3 milliemes gold plated.
   
   
3. What does ' Tombak ' mean
   Tombak is a brass alloy with 85% copper which gives a warm red colour similar
   to rosegold. Very similar is Pinchbeck also a brass alloy that seems to be like
   yellow gold. Tombak is sealed with a thick antique rose gold wash. Some people
   call it 'garnet gold' eventhough it is no gold alloy. It is Tombak with a gold overlay.
   
   
4. Are the pieces antique?
   The pieces are old stock from a garnet factory, which was founded in the 19th century. All pieces are old,
   however we can't indicate the exact "date of birth" only name the style, e.g. Victorian, Art Déco, ... etc.
   Most pieces were unworn old stock or if they were used or hadmissing stones we repaired them perfectly.
   That's why we can give a guarantee on all our pieces. No hazzle with broken parts, lost stones,
   no problems with thin and worn ring shanks etc ... everyting is in perfect condition.
   
   
5. Can I return purchased jewelry?
   We acknowledge that it's difficult to order jewelry just by pictures, but we are sure you'll
   love the jewels once you hold it in your hands. If you don't  you can return the item(s)
   within 1 week by US parcel post insured and you'll get your full money back.
   
   
6. Which countries do you ship to?
   To protect our German retail customers, we only ship to the following countries:
   USA, Canada, Australia, Japan, UK . Other countries must ask first if it's possible.
   
   
7. Do you offer a layaway plan?
   No, unfortunately we don't. It is too difficult for us from Germany.
   
   
8. Whats the cost of ring sizing? and length of necklaces?
   Ring sizing can be done by our goldsmith if not stated otherwise in the item
   description. Making a ring smaller is US$ 5 and enlarging is US$ 15. The delivery
   time will extend for approximately one or two weeks more. Necklaces normally are
   between 17 and 17 1/2 long and have an extra eylet chain that can be adjusted
   by 3 more inches.
   
   
9. Tax/customs duties are fully refundable
   In 95% of our shipments noone had to pay tax/dutie. In some unknown reason
   buyers sometimes may be charged with sales tax or custom duties. In this case
   we will refund all custom fees & taxes in full to your PayPal account. To reimburse
   your expenses you will be asked to mail us a copy of the appropriate customs bill/s .
   
   
10. Do you accept credit cards?
    Credit Cards are accepted through PayPal
    
    
11. Are there any additional charges/hidden costs?
    No, you only pay the price as advertised in our store.
    No shipment fees  - no insurance - no taxes no duties.
    That is all paid by us. Free shipping by registered letter.
    Possibly charged tax and/or customs duties are reimbursable (see question 9 for details).
    
    
12. How long does shipment take ?
    We ship by registered letter insured. To East cost it takes 5 to 7 days.
    To the West Coast it takes 6 to 8 days. In a holiday week it may take one
    or two days more.
