Sclater” Silkscreen & Acrylic Vintage Landscape “Malibu” Canada Scene.
This
Silkscreen & Acrylic painting is showing a scene of the early 20th century
landscape and at the Malibu Club Resort in the foot hills of Canada, with
massive Native American Totem Poles and a lovely mariner and docks. One can
imagine the breath taking views and the fresh that this area has to offer.
Sclater was a 20th century Canadian artist born in New Westminster in 1932 his
life span was up to 1978. He was known to have work with pop artist Jasper
Johns during a period of his life, this artist can easily be research because
of his auction record history. The condition of the painting and thin walnut
frame is excellent; the image is not glued down and can be removed easily if
one would ever like to change out the frame. This beauty is clearly signed in
the low right of the image. The image size is 11.5” x 15.5” and the frame size
is 16” x 20”. Please check out my other store
