Antique Japanese Impressive Cityscape & Mt. Fuji & Geisha Lady Paint/Velvet Canvas.

 This is an original framed antique period painting of an important city of Japan most likely Tokyo with Mt. Fuji overlooking the entire landscape; this is a great detail view of the city and its large impressive buildings, bridges, garden ornaments and this very beautiful Geisha Lady that is overlooking her wonderful city. This painting is superbly done of various colors of paints that is applied onto a black velvet canvas, well protected behind glass and framed in a Japanese frame with a wood panel backing. The condition of the image is mint, the frame is in very good condition with minor scuffs along the edges, but can be easily touched up with your favorite treatment. I think that it could date from the late 19th century to the very earliest of the 20th century. The image size is 15” x 22.5” and the frame size is 21.3/4” x 29.5” x 1”.
