For over a century and a half, the medallion back sofa has been the leading symbol of Victorian elegance. This Victorian couch was the largest and most comfortable medallion back sofa offered at the time by Magnolia Hall. The button-tufted back enfolds you, while thick cushions provide excellent support for sitting hours at a time. Also note the heavy base with six-leg support on the sofa. These pieces are made of solid Dark Fruit wood with highly skilled craftsmen finishing all carvings.This authentic Dark Fruit wood reproduction captures the original, down to the last graceful curve. Additional carvings adorn the front of the arms and legs. The top crest is adorned with hand-carved roses and leaves. More roses can be found where the arches intersect. The sofa is upholstered in a tapestry Dowel pins, screws, and glue are used in the frame construction, which provides countless years of durability.
