I am very pleased to present for sale this Victorian Carved Walnut Parlor Chair circa 1870's. The newer replacement fabric on this chair is exquisite......true Victorian colors of deep cranberry with wonderful fleur-de-lis in the pattern and matching gimp trim.This chair measures a total height of 44 3/4 inches from the floor to the top of the back, width from arm to arm is 25 1/2 inches, seat width of 21 inches, seat depth of 21 inches, seat height of 17 and weighs approximately 45 lbs. The walnut finger roll crest-rail forms a high back, the half covered open out-swept arms end with finger-roll arm supports ,a carved serpentine front seat-rail, with demi-cabriole front legs with carvings at the knees, and the original casters on all four feet. There is a chip in the wood on the top crest-rail (close-up in pics) and if you look closely you will see the fabric on the back has the fleur-de-lis pattern up side down. This wonderful Victorian Walnut Parlor Chair circa 1870's is structurally solid and has a wonderful presence and would make a great addition to your home.
