What's great about it: Beautiful color display, Speed, HD screen, thin, and light for 17" screen, MAC OS X rocks!!!! ... What's not so great: The problem with this computer is that it has nothing wrong with it...LOL (It flawless) "I've grown up with PC's my whole life and I never gave Mac computers a chance because I was ignorant as many of us are when it comes to Mac vs PC. If you are thinking maybe should I get a mac? Yes, they are durable and have a long lifespan compared to PC notebooks. If you are even thinking the white plastic macbook... it is fast enough. I mean really fast. This 17" macbook pro I'm using can play Full 1080p Video smoothly on its 9400M. If I turn on the faster card, I wouldn't know unless I put Sims 3 on Max graphics and resolution. I'm impressed with MAc OS X... It is the bomb. I love more than windows and it is faster booting up, opening programs, shuting down than windows can achieve. The LED backlit display is bright and sweet. The Color on this is so gorgeous it is like... better than any computer I've seen. The color is like real life color. THE BEST THING ABOUT THIS MAC IS THAT IT DOESN"T OVERHEAT. I take this computer on my bed at night and as long as I leave some room behind the display, the computer doesn't overheat. There are no fans that suck air from underneath...cough...cough TOSHIBA!!!!!. This computer is a very quiet computer. It hardly makes sound from running, but when I turn the speakers on... oh thats another story. THese speakers are Loud!!!! I mean Loud. Let me give you an example. You could play music at 70% loudness and It would be sound that you'd use for watching a TV. Apple like put the best technology of everything into this computer. This is what I call a real computer. Go with a mac
