Are all Auto-Relisted items refundable at eBay? |
![]() |
No. Only certain auto-relisted items are eligible for a refund at eBay (i.e. 'relistable' items according to eBay rules). In general, the first relist is refundable, and every other subsequent relists are refundable.
For example, if you auto-relist an item 3 times, the item will be listed at eBay a total of 4 times (the original listing plus 3 relists). Then, assuming the item never sells:

How do I enable this feature |
![]() |
You can set your default global Auto-Relist settings by going to the "Ebay Site Specifics" page under the "My Account" tab. To enable Auto-Relist, simply check the "Enable Auto-Relist" checkbox, and specify the number of times you want the listing to be relisted (between 1 and 10). All your subsequent items that you create in Inventory or in "Create Lsting" page will have this default Auto-Relist setting. You can also over-ride your default Auto-Relist settings for each inventory item (under eBay Site Specifics), and for each new item you create using the "Create Listing" page. |

Is Auto-Relist compatible with Recurring Listings? |
![]() |
Yes. However, please notice that each recurring item will be auto-relisted. For example, if an item is to be automatically relisted once and you create a recurring schedule that contains 5 instances, you may end up listing the item up to 10 times (depending on whether the items are sold or not). Also, please note that since there is no check on the concurrency of auto-relist and recurring items, you may have relisted item(s) and the next scheduled instance(s) of the recurring item Active at the venue at the same time. |
