I have reported what you are experiencing to our IT folks, but please do not lump what you are running into now with the fixes from last week. What ISP are you using? I have received only 2 reports this morning (which we are investigating) versus dozens from the week before. I'll keep you posted on what our team comes up with.

Hi there,
We've noticed the same thing (sporadic slowness) and we're continuing to look into this. There have been some strange routing issues with various ISPs lately, so we're working with some of them to isolate and eliminate the issues. But it seems to have improved since earlier this week. Please let us know if it continues to happen for you (it would be helpful if you would do a tracert when you are experiencing the slowness and post the results here.)

Again this am - trying to access "Pending" and the Firefox "loading" circle just goes around and around.....ditto to "Post Sale". So, I can't list and I can't ship.
I finally got to the control panel and this message appeared in red (AGAIN):
Warning: Unable to fetch information from eBay. This is because either your authorization allowing us to send and receive listing information to eBay has expired, or your eBay ID login information was changed on eBay but not updated on Vendio. Please verify your username and password at eBay, and then update your information in My Account: Auction Site Accounts. (This appeared for a minute yesterday and I just kept working and had no problems launching auctions last night during the period where others were noting long delays).

Very slow for me to in the Sales, Post Sales area.
A tracert traces the time it takes and the route from us to them.
The instructions to do one is somewhere in here. Found them but had to go back 30 days (we need a search in this area)
I think you just run tracert.vendio.com
I tried that and it got to step 13 and died.
Maybe I'm not doing ti right.

We were super slow this morning (only on Vendio, no other sites were affected) and had to just leave and not do any work...
It seems to working normally now.

and AGAIN this am - got into control panel but when I tried to launch an item from pending, there was a long processing delay and then the screen went blank (Firebox) and the url is: http://wsacp.vendio.com/my/acp/edit_auction.html and apparently the item was not listed. Now I cannot access the Control Panel at all.
PLEASE Vendio fix this!! Many of us work in the am hours and while this may seem early to you, it isn't for us in other time zones.

Ok I found the instructions for tracert from an earler post by Christopher:
f you are still running into this now, please run the following test so we can check into any possible causes further:
1. Go to your command prompt. This can usually by done by simply going to Start + Run and typing 'CMD' into the field and clicking enter.
2. In the command window, type 'tracert vendio.com' and click enter.
The trace will then run until it connects fully to Vendio.com.
When finished, use the right-click on your mouse to click inside this window and choose 'select all.' Once selected, just click the enter key on your keyboard and all of that text will be copied.
3. Paste the results here into the forum, or email them to us directly ([email protected]) so we can review the data.

Neglus - I spoke with MarketWorks this afternoon. They were down for 25 minutes on Monday and then down for an extra hour on Tuesday night, during their regularly scheduled maintenance period, which begins at 2AM.
That is hardly "been DOWN for two days."

Koz -I don't know, several shooting star sellers on a private ebay discussion board report long outages on the 4th and the 5th. They said yesterday (5th) buyers could not check out for several hours. One says that tonight (Weds) is the THIRD night down in a row (reported at 727 pm cst). Another said he has been waiting 8 months for a promised change in a shipping calculator. I am reporting this not to excuse Vendio from culpability on these continued delays but to point out that we are not alone.
