Am I calculating this right?
1 U.S. gallon is 3.785 Canadian liters, our local gas here in Vancouver is down to 63.9 cents per liter, so equivalent of $2.41 for a U.S. gallon. So consider yourselves lucky.
Main reason for the big difference is that about 95% of our gas prices are Federal & Provincial taxes!
Anyway, I'm off on Monday across the border for some eBay related stuff, my tank will be just about empty by then, I always find the cheapest gas is just off the I-5 toward Bellingham at a station near a native reservation, so it will be fill fill fill!
