I think I usually get them all Pharlap, and not in my bed thank goodness!

LMAO Zilvy! *giggle, snort* So that's what it's called!

I'm glad it's over and done with too. I just hope she feels better soon. I keep turning around to check on her, make sure she's still breathing. I don't know if Gunther sees her as a sister, playtoy or girlfriend. But she is his favorite, that's for sure!

Now, now Pharlap don't get you knickers in a knot....I just sent it out last night...Mouse just saw her copy. They can't move "reery reery" fast late at night.
By the way I have had Dr.'s that talk that way and it is difficult when you are not feeling well and there is a language barrier...Good luck on the ebay items..things should be picking up in a couple of weeks, then the only problem is
having the inventory. I know I am going thru
boxes this weekend, taking pictures and repacking for future selling. Be prepared...

Yes - the mouse. Poor little thing, it was only a baby. I don't feel too bad though. It's kept me up the past couple of nights crawling around noisily amongst my papers and things!

mouseslayer -
I can only remember 107º heat from when I traveled in the southwest.
I remember once I was on the verge of heat stroke and we pulled in a gas station down there and the old fellow at the station got a big bath towl and dipped it in the ice cold water in the big tub type pop cooler and draped it around my neck and shoulders. I have no doubt at all he saved my life.

pharlap -
It will probably be easier to make some money in a couple weeks. The summer slow down should be over. Right now I am doing good to get my opening bid on things.

I'd love to go to an auction but I have looked in the paper that is published for a 3 state area listing auctions and the closest that sound interesting - that will have box lots is 200 miles away. Too far.

Ya know the problem with being a mouse
is, one mistake and you don't get a
chance to learn from it. Sorta like
the early bird catches the worm but,
the second mouse gets the cheese!!

my fav cat and mouse!

Gravid, I have no doubt that you're right about him saving you, at the very least a trip to the hospital. Last week they had to pluck a 17-year old girl off of Camelback Mountain. She's still in critical condition and hasn't woken up. She was here from Michigan (I think) visiting her brother. The rescuers said they had plenty of water, just too much heat & humidity. We actually don't get too much of that here because those that live here know how to handle the heat. Usually if anything happens, it's someone from out of town or an unusually hot day (like the day we hit 122 degrees, ugh!)

I've been on a somewhat forced hiatus from ebay for a couple of weeks now. I was hoping the temps would drop enough that I could start preparing the next go round, but no such luck. And I just have no tolerance for the heat right now...

Gravid - 200 miles (about 320kms for us Aussies) isn't really that far. If they have heaps available it may be worth checking out.

Zilvy - is that your cat?

Pharlap no that's not my kitty I just seem to gather photos of cats and this one is sooo cute, I don't even remember where he came from. I'm going to try and show another that I thought was fantastic!

Nettak How is the training of little Jess coming along? Miss you hope you are OK!

My thoughts when I saw that was, imagine being the person taking the shower and seeing a furry body hurtling toward the top of the shower door!?!?!? Praying, please don't us me as the backboard!!

The real question is, How does it get down?

Well, it is 8:18 AM time for me to head
downstairs to make a bountiful breakfast.
It is hubby's day off and we like to enjoy
a big breakfast together.

Have a pleasant evening, downunder!! Glad I could be here at the same time you were Pharlap. Take care and keep those jokes coming.

Hello everyone, hope you are all behaving.

Mouse I am glad you puss is doing well.
Hi Pharlap glad to see you made it back, I was going to forward Zilvy's email on to you but I see you already have it.

Hi Zilvy I miss you too my friend. That darling (please read rotten) Pup Jess is chewing everything in sight and then some. She has so far run off with my joggers, Gregs work boots and numerous other item of footwear that we were stupid enough to leave in it's normal place outside the door. I have so far managed to rescue everything except for my scuffs and I know they were just about had it anyway but they were good for slipping on to go our into the yard or if I was just ducking down the road. They are no more because she completely ripped the top from the base. LOL Little sh!t.

Oh well it is life as normal in our house...caos reins supreme....like I said everything is on a normal footing, the pup just adds spice.

Now where is that honey of a man Bob are you lost on the golf course or out sailing with Enchanted still. hahaha LOL

Hi Gravid you should go to your auction, if it has things that you think could be good....go for it. As Pharlap said for us it would not seem like a long way, that sort of distance is travelled all the time without blinking an eyelid. Go and make a nice day out for yourself and take your wife for the drive and have a romantic picnic lunch.

I don't know if I will be in later, I have a hot date with a babe......in the real sense.
What a cutie he is, girls' you would all be so jealous.

Okay where is everyone, I am starting to get a complex.......has Bob taken everyone on the boat except me??

Does anyone want a new pup, she is hardly used at all and is very nice. Really she is.

If you have any shoes you don't want anymore or even if you do want them don't worry because she will take good care of them for you, they may get a bit frayed around the edges and might have a little but chewed out of them but she will love them like they were her own.

This pup is driving me crazy, she has chewed a hole in one of the cushions on the old sofa out in the family room, and she seems to think that it is her right to piddle in my hallway. One of us is going to break soon and I get the feeling it could be me. Hubby doesn't think she is doing anything terrible and I suppose in a puppy mind she probably isn't being bad just playful. But this dog has to be trained and soon.

I am off to get some recipes from the WW site but I will be back later if anyone is around.

AHOY Nettak, Back from our cruise. We had so many people on the boat that she was a bit low in the waterline.
The Navy stopped us at one stage. They reckoned we looked like a boatload of illegal immigrants!

Bob, Downunder but never down.

Well I did not have to worry about going to the auction. I went out and the car would not start. That took care of Saturday - got a new BIG battery for $80.00 with a 5 year warrenty, and had the charging system all checked out to make sure it is OK. That left enough time to rush to FedEx before they closed.

Woohoo, we ought to do a party cruise more often!

Well, Pogo is doing better now. As a matter of fact she's acting a bit stoned tonight, I think it's her pain pill. I finally got brave enough to turn her on her back so I could take a peak at her stitches and the thread is blue! LOL But she has a couple of lumpy looking parts that concern me. I'm to check in with the vet tomorrow, so I'll ask her while I also get an Elisabethan collar for Pogo (so she doesn't chew on the stitches).

Oh, and guess who's in heat today?! KD! Turns out she's not pregnant after all. *whew* I just knew it too. I told Mom I wouldn't be totally sure she was pregnant until she got seriously huge to not doubt it. In a way I'm glad (don't want to add to the pet overpopulation you know ), but in a way I'm disappointed too (no babies to play with ).

Gravid, don't you just hate it when you buy a new, used, car and have to put money into it right away?

Hey Bob when you were off cruising you didn't happen across a Norweigen(sp?) ship with a full cargo heading for Aussie waters by any chance? We seem to be a very popular destination lately.
