Barbarasgirl=Jennifer, and if its not obvious Barbara is my "partner", co-parent, lover, whichever you prefer.
Also, how do I make a sig? I see how to turn it on, but that doesn't do much good if I don't have one. Thanks ahead of time.

Hi Jennifer 
Click on the My Account tab (top right) and then select Personal Information. Scroll down the page to Extended Profile and you can save your sig line.

Okay.. I'll come clean - I was ONCE a Rose, it was my married last name in the not so very distant past. I also have a name that I thought no one else did, but when I ran an AOL member search a year or so back, I found another woman that was afflicted with it. She and I have become pen-pals and it is quite disconcerting to open my mailbox and see my name as the sender (she uses her real name as her screen name) -
My parents tagged me with the Double-Southern-Name of Mary Otis. All my life I've gone by both names, and have always had difficulty having people USE them both. There is some sort of mental block that many folks have that makes them completely unable to address me as I prefer. On the phone I've reverted to over pronouncing OTIS - making the "O" long and round, but still 8 out of 10 people "hear" MaryEtta. Human nature is such a funny thing.

I took the name because I was eating some candy called Delites and I decided they were deliteful. It was that or cokehead (was also drinking a coke) but I feared that first impression would be to much for most posters.

Hi Barbara,
Unfortunately there isn't any way to change your current ID.
The solution we usually recommend is to simply register a new account and we'll suspend the Message Center privileges of your old ID so you aren't violating any of the CGs by having 2 IDs with posting capabilities.
If you use any of AW's auction tools, the change won't alter your access to those facilities under the "barbkeith" ID.
If you decide to change over, just drop the Moderators a note at [email protected] so we know to suspend the old ID.
