tomswift,
Could you email me, please? I've been looking for someone who knows that area to ask a question.
[email protected]
Oh, by the way, Western New York.
Sixty miles south of Buffalo and Rochester.

The factory I work in (Fortune 500 full of chemicals) is in the process of barricading all the plant entrances, as there have been rumors of something happening here this weekend. The 911 center says if this place would go, there would be nothing left but a three mile crator..

After two frozen winters of 8 foot snow drifts in the Brockport/Rochester area, I flew South for the duration ~

What your Islander Boys did to my Panthers on Opening Day wasn't very nice!
In all honesty, I miss the Islanders from the Ron (ooh la la Sassoon) DuGay days.

Well, considering what's going on, I have to admit that I'm actually not just in South Florida.
I live in a city called Parkland, the Northern-most city in Broward County.
The Southern-most city in Palm Beach Cty, as many of you know, is Boca Raton.
Yup.
My 7 yo son plays BaseBall for the Boca Bombers (yes, that is their real name and not a sick joke).
My Mom and Grandmother both live in Boca Raton, less than a mile from "The Anthrax Site".
I guess that means none of you will open any of the mail that I send?

We move frequently, however:
Bradenton, Florida right now (just south of Tampa). Couldn't stand those Buffalo winters anymore
Previously East Aurora, NY (just south of Buffalo). My husband was raised in Rochester, NY
Previously Sarasota, Florida (just south of Bradenton). Moved to Buffalo for my husband.
Previously Troy, MI - Couldn't stand those Michigan winters anymore.
It is interesting to see where everyone is from. Hope everyone stays safe.
By the way, the person who posted the story about the plane stranded - thank you, it was an uplifting story to read.

Rochester, New Hampshire is my home now, though I lived in a tiny town called Madbury while I was growing up.

Texas...right inbetween Austin and San Antonio...with the oil supply, NASA, the capital, Alamodome games, spurs games... My brother is in the USAF. We hold our breath when he doesn't call for long periods of time. Even though we understand. Had to go downtown Austin near the capital building to the Court building and there were police everywhere. Of course there were the usual metal detectors and police at the entrance of the buildings. Had a couple of Anthrax scares in San Antonio...had a scare with barges that rammed into a major bridge at the coast...stuff is going on everywhere. -Jenny
