OK, I just took my picture with my Mavica and looked at it on PhotoImpact. There is NO WAY you're going to see that. It's just too early and no makeup at that. Maybe later!!

OK, here's a slightly more recent and far less artificially posed picture of myself. No sunglasses, no sports car, just little old me...

I hope I remember how to do this! I always come into these great threads "way late!"
This is my grand daughter, me, oldest son, youngest son and hubby at oldest son's graduation last spring.
*third try HAS to be the charm!

Huh? I didn't realize I was going anywhere. Unless, of course, you're bidding farewell to the part of me that is slowly but surely going away through diet and exercise, in which case I appreciate the sentiment.
femme: Yeah, I've tried to grow a beard an moustache at various times. It never came in too well, and the most I could accomplish was a scraggly looking goatee. I recently shaved it off, probably for good.

Just for the sake of comparison:
The picture on the left was taken from a lower angle and I was farther away from the camera, so it doesn't match up perfectly, but I think you get the idea.
rancher24: Cute, real cute!

I had 5 megabytes of free space to play with, and I did it just as a lark. At the time, mine was one of only a few Godzilla pages on the Web, so I gained a certain "fame" if you will in very small circles. Back when the American Godzilla movie was being hyped to the gills, however, I was suddenly cast into the spotlight as some sort of world renowned Godzilla expert and was interviewed and/or quoted by such sources as the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, etc. As a result, I started spending more and more time on the site, growing it to well over 40 megabytes, buying books, figures, t-shirts and the like, and even writing the odd cybernovel or two, all to make it better. The whole thing really got way out of hand, though, and these days I really don't have much to do with Godzilla [other than enjoying the movies, which is what started the whole thing in the first place].
The name of my website was [and still is] "Barry's Temple of Godzilla", and I came up with the username "godzillatemple" when posting to sundry sci-fi related message boards in the hope that people would recognize me as the proprietor of the "world famous" Temple of Godzilla website. And then, when I first came to eBay, I used that as my username simply out of habit [I wasn't planning on buying or selling -- I was just looking around].
