My favorite pet peeve is when I order in a fast food restaurant and am asked "Take-out?".
I respond "No" and then am invariably asked "For Here?". I would love to know why the second question is asked... or is there a third option that I am not aware of?

I went to the local Nice-n-Easy to get a coffee for myself and a vanilla cappachino for Daughter #1. Got the coffee, but there was no vanilla cappachino.
Me: You are out of the French Vanilla.
Clerk: Yeah...it goes real fast.
Me: Maybe ya oughta order more.
Clerk: Oh we did! We were getting one bag and it was gone the first day. So we ordered two and they only lasted two days!
