I suspected all along, but I couldn't be sure until today when she spelled 'humor' with a 'u'. Busted!

I also spell humour with a "u" and colour rather than color.
I was born in Brooklyn which is definitely part of the US of A.

I was born in Mississippi and have attended schools on the East coast as far north as New York.
Somewhere in this country, I learned how to spell humour with a "u" also.

Actually, my origin was documented here a couple of years ago. I discovered that another poster on AW lived right across the street from where I was born. She knew all of my relatives who still live there -- My uncle was her CPA!
So, I'm genuine American!
