About 10 years ago, they came out with a doll called Gay Bob (like a Ken doll). He came with his own closet and tight fitting clothes. Now they've advanced to more realistic looking gay dolls - I found an auction for "Billy". What do you think about dolls like this?

P.S. I was thinking of getting one for Christmas for Twelve. Do you think it would suit him??

Realistic? Maybe in to 70's & 80s. But I haven't seen a gay man looking like that in years outside of Halloween--and I go through West Hollywood all the time.
As for the concept--it's not meant for kids, but rather adults, and that's their business.

To be polite, they are anatomically realistic, Bunni.

Ah, you mean anatomically correct. Why didn't you say so? Heck, I was calling for those kinds of dolls when I was a kid!

I don't even know if I'd call it correct, Bunni. Another seller described the dolls as having "unusually ample packages". I laughed my head off!!

Krafty - check out the Tattoo Carlos version ....
The different versions are actually kind of funny and politicaaly correct, there is a black version, hispanic, blond and brunette. New York style, San Fransisico style, cop, fireman and sailor, tattooed, vacaationing and master... did I miss the slave?
This guys collection is an interesting mix... there are also biblical action figures such as posable Jesus, Job and Adam and my personal favorite Porn star action figures.... hilarious!

"AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL. Lyrics to the song were composed by progressive poet Katherine Lee Bates, a lesbian who had a decades-long, live-in relationship with economist Katharine Coman. Both women were professors at Wellesley College, and both were active in reform movements involving workers rights, the inner-city poor and womens right to vote. The book that presented the new lyrics to Great Britains "God Save the Queen" was called America the Beautiful and Other Poems, and those "other poems" included several that excoriated the United States for its imperialistic policies in the Philippines."
And many more interesting facts relating to their hypocritical oaths.

I'm not sure which I get the bigger kick out of on our Finnish friend... that he comes with interchangable cut and uncut manhood or that he comes with his own mini condoms. Ken must be green with envy

Lol, fenix.
Actually it's kind of a fun collectible and would definitely be a conversation piece when friends and family came over to visit.
Show and tell...... hahahahaha....

All lends new meaning to the phrase "Click to enlarge" under each picture in the auctions, doesn't it? Now that would be a sight, wouldn't it...

Maybe he would prefer this one.
Housewife Doll
"Thelma" is a 15" doll entirely handmade of cloth. The finished doll comes complete with undergarment, housedress, cobbler apron, felt rolling pin, painted-on shoes, and a "flour sack" dishtowel.
Undergarment = bloomers.

No way! They both look way too sneaky for Twelve. Especially the one with the rolling pin. You can tell in her eyes, she's thinking of how to trap a good man into thinking she's pregnant, all for cash & jewelry. He's far too clever for that!
