Please see" ego driven politician" thread.
Is there an actual point to your question or just hoping for a rim shot?

If it's really "common" sense, why do so few people actually have it?

Just noting your increasingly loony spelling tonight, Fenix, and sentences that don't make sense...
"I thrilled to deather that people now smile in the capitol buiding since they sure as hell are not doing it on the streets. "
"BTW - one of those real things would be say....doing the proposed trade off with the indian casinos of imposing taxes while also newly enabling craps tables. (BTW - I have no problems with the tribes and feel that they have done much to lend support when the state has abandoned - like paying for the rebuild of a local firehouse that was lost in the wildfires - but we need a little more help these days and I don't see it as creating a hardship - especially when you are giving them an additional cash stream in trade) "
Sorry, Fenix, but those statements of yours did not make any sense. I figured I'd blame alcohol first and then suggest the fumes from being around noxious hair products later, if this trend continued...

My typing has quite honestly always been horrendous, I edit my comments in my head while I type and don't always remember to do it on the page as well - accept it or move on. As for the statements I made.... let me clarify...
::"BTW - one of those real things would be say....doing the proposed trade off with the indian casinos of imposing taxes while also newly enabling craps tables. ::
This would be one of the few proposals to add income to the state that I agree with..
::BTW - I have no problems with the tribes and feel that they have done much to lend support when the state has abandoned - like paying for the rebuild of a local firehouse that was lost in the wildfires - but we need a little more help these days and I don't see it as creating a hardship - especially when you are giving them an additional cash stream in trade::
This would be a statement showing that while I am in support the change in the law it is not because of some cultural or puritanical bias. I have great respect forr what the tribes have done in their communities. I mention the firehouse because this particular firehouse would not have been rebuilt without the financial contribution of the tribe since the fire department budget lost millions when the car tax reinstatement was repealed.
Still no rim shot in sight

"Democracy Now! host Amy Goodman (10/6/03) followed up on the fact that Schwarzenegger had served for 15 years on the board of the organization U.S. English, an English-only group with ties to the white supremacist movement (Intelligence Report, Summer/02). The story got virtually no play outside of independent media. The same happened when Pacifica radio station KPFK in Los Angeles (8/16/03) interviewed Robby Robinson, who trained with Schwarzenegger in the 1970s and described his behavior as racist and anti-Semitic."

US English was founded by Senator S.I. Hayakawa. Its CEO is a Chilean, Mauro E. Mujica. The "tie" you speak of is the fact that the organization hired someone who had been a contributing editor to a magazine listed as a hate magazine by the Southern Poverty Law Center. ooooh!
